Youth (ages 12-18)
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
First Baptist Troy is known for being a church for the whole family, and a big part of that is our student ministry. We believe that students are not just the church of tomorrow, but the church of today! Our student ministry seeks to make disciples by partnering with Christian parents and adults in the church. Our student ministry utilizes small groups, worship gatherings, and mission opportunities to engage and involve students in the life of the church. We also seek to encourage and support parents to be the spiritual heroes of their homes. Our student ministry motto is simple: “Empower Parents and Adopt Spiritual Orphans.” Youth ages are 6th-12th grade.
Sunday Nights
On Sunday nights, we have worship through music, followed by a Bible Study. We also play high energy games and provide dinner for the students every week.
Sunday Mornings
We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45am for a time of small group study.
Every Other Tuesday Night
Small group studies through books of the Bible
